AI capability
AI-Augmented Delivery
Conventional DevOps work delivered at unusual speed. AI does the grunt work; the judgement stays senior.
Most consultancies bill by the day, which quietly rewards work taking longer. We do the opposite. AI agents handle the repetitive parts of infrastructure work: writing Terraform modules, porting pipelines, generating tests, sweeping a codebase for a pattern. The architecture, the trade-offs and the review stay with a principal engineer.
The result is not lower quality work done faster. It is the same work with the tedium removed.
What this actually looks like
A typical engagement starts with the thing you already know is wrong: pipelines nobody understands, Terraform that has drifted from reality, an AWS bill that grew without anyone deciding it should. We map it, agree the target, then move considerably faster through the mechanical middle of the work than a conventional team would.
Where AI helps most:
- Breadth. Every module, pipeline and manifest in a large estate gets read, where a human reviewer would sample three and hope.
- Migration. Mechanical translation work, such as moving pipelines between platforms or refactoring modules to a new structure.
- Tests and documentation. The parts that get skipped under time pressure, which is exactly why estates rot.
Where it does not, and where a person stays in the loop: architecture decisions, anything touching production data, security boundaries, and the judgement about what is worth building at all.
The proof is a repository, not a claim
Every consultancy now says it uses AI. Very few can show you what came out.
Octasoft built and runs buildwiz.uk this way: six project trees, 68 detailed guides, nine long-form articles, a full content pipeline with automated verification, and a knowledge graph tying it together. One person, start to finish. You are buying the same working method, pointed at infrastructure instead of content.
What you end up with
Work your team can own outright: version-controlled infrastructure, pipelines that document themselves, and a handover that does not depend on us remaining available. If an engagement leaves you dependent on the consultancy, it has failed.
